Born in Oku-Ohno Village, Nakagun, Kyoto. |

Worked for wash and repair shop of Kyozome.
Learned about illustration and Chinese painting, by the correspondence course. |
1938 |
Run away from home to be an artists. He led a vagabond life in Kobe and Yokohama. |
1940 |
Worked for the Navy in Maizuru. And learned about arts by art books. |
1942 |
Converted to the western style painting.
Participated in the formation of the "Tsurubikai" in Maizuru. |
1944 |
Became a soldier, and faced the end of the second world war in Hachijojima. |
1946 |
Worked for Nippon Express in Maizuru. |
1947 |
Submited his painting to the first exhibition of Nikikai.
"Evening Scene of Maizuru Bay" became a winning work.
Went to Kyoto Kansai Bijustuin, and studied under Shigetaro Kuroda. |
1950 |
Worked as a driver of crane truck of Kawasaki Shipyard in Kobe. |
1951 |
First exhibition at Nishi-Manazuru Library. |
